Power and Compassion of Woman Project
Social entrepreneur, female activist Naomi Whittel and renowned photographer Timothy White come together to share the journeys of inspirational women from all over the globe. The heart of this project lies in the hope that this will be an impowering guide for women to find their voices and embolden them on their journeys to become the leaders of their own domain. Women from all facets of life -- science, media, entertainment, politics -- will come together in this exhibit to share their inspirational stories and show the impact that they have had in the world.
Both compassion and power are concurrent themes. Celebrating, highlighting, and sharing the stories of these inspirational women will help other women find their voices and rally them on their journeys to becoming more confident and more willing to lead, affect and inspire their communities — no matter how big or small, to make our world a kinder more humane place for all.
The Power and Compassion of Woman will include the stories and portraits of 50 compassionate and powerful women from around the world. This exhibit will capture their voice and serve as a testament to the power women hold in their everyday lives. It will be premiered at the U.N. General Assembly in September 2021.
