Lead the Conversation. Shape the Future. Apply to Speak at the TPM NLN Summit.
📅 Summit Dates: September 30-Oct 1
📍 Location: Washington, D.C.
🕐 Proposal Deadline: May 31
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s Talent Pipeline Management® (TPM) National Learning Network Summit is where TPM practitioners, business leaders, educators, and workforce changemakers come together to innovate, collaborate, and drive impact. This year, we’re inviting proposals that inspire action, share lessons learned, and explore bold new ideas.
We welcome individual and team proposals from TPM Academy® graduates and their talent supply chain partners. Whether you're new to speaking or a seasoned presenter, this is your opportunity to make your mark on the TPM movement.
Speaker Benefits
- Receive 1:1 support from Foundation staff in developing your session outline for our audience.
- A $250/person stipend. (This can be stacked with your survey!)
- Meet, network, and share your expertise with our TPM NLN network.
- Have your name and business affiliation published in conference materials.
- Receive recognition in pre-summit marketing and reception on September 29.
Breakout Sessions are offered in three dynamic formats to meet diverse learning styles and goals:
- INFORM (20 minutes)
Present emerging insights, tools, or successful case studies. These quick, high-value sessions focus on sharing knowledge. - DESIGN (50 minutes)
Engage participants in developing a plan, framework, or idea using design thinking or collaborative activities. - APPLY (70 minutes)
Guide attendees through an interactive, hands-on experience that applies TPM principles to real-world challenges.
All sessions should identify their target audience (e.g., new vs. experienced TPM practitioners, sector-specific focus) and provide tangible takeaways.
TPMx Talks: Bold Ideas, Shared in 5 Minutes
Our main stage TPMx sessions spotlight short, powerful stories that showcase the human side of TPM.
We’re looking for one presenter from each of the following roles:
- TPM Practitioner
- Employer Partner
- Educator
- Employee
If you have a story that can spark curiosity, shift perspectives, or ignite action—this is your platform.
We are looking for presenters that deliver exciting, engaging, and content rich sessions built on your own experiences implementing the principles of TPM. Presentations may be general enough for a large audience or developed for a specific TPM role or type of experience/application (e.g., rural communities, collaboration for small- and medium-sized businesses).
Notes:
- Preference will be given to proposals that fit within topics that are relevant to TPM practitioners and their Talent Supply Chain partners.
- Preference will be given to proposals that provide a workshop or engagement component that allow participants to walk away with something tangible/actionable.
- We welcome team proposals and not all presenters must be TPM Academy graduates. In fact, if you have partners in your work that can provide a different perspective, we encourage their participation.
We encourage proposals across these themes (but welcome new ideas too!):
- Innovative Data Strategies
- Job Quality
- Apprenticeships
- Removing Barriers from the Workforce
- Funding and Sustainability
- Communications
- Industry-Specific Strategies
- Strategic Partnership Development
- TPM Implementation Strategy
For "Design and Apply," preference will be given to proposals that include an interactive or workshop element.
