ABOUT THE PROGRAM

When the coronavirus pandemic began in 2020, border closures, stay-at-home orders, and remote work transformed Americans' relationship with travel -- resulting in an unprecedented 42 percent annual decline in travel spending from 2019 to 2020.

Now, as travelers take to the roads and skies once again, the industry is considering its path forward to recovery.

On July 26, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation will convene industry experts, small businesses, scientists, and more for a wide-ranging conversation on the impact of the pandemic on this critical industry, as well as the road ahead.
