Overview 

The Georgia Child Care Summit will bring together local chamber leaders, mayors, and early childhood experts to align on strategies that expand child care supply and strengthen local economies. The event is designed as a team-based convening, supporting communities in advancing actionable, locally driven solutions.  

 

Who Should Attend 

Each invited community will send a cross-sector team, including: 

• Chamber of Commerce / business leader (team lead) 

• Mayor or local government representative 

• Optional workforce, economic development, or early childhood partner  

Participants are expected from 8–10 communities across Georgia, representing a mix of priority and emerging regions.  

 

What to Expect 

This convening will focus on alignment, action, and implementation through: 

• Peer learning across communities 

• Business engagement strategies (including tax credits such as 45F) 

• Employer and community spotlights 

• Small-group, city-based planning sessions 

• Cross-sector dialogue between business and government leaders
