Jeffrey leads Amazon’s Global Disaster Response Operations. In this capacity, his team focuses on delivering communications, cloud technologies, leveraging Amazon’s extensive employee volunteer base and robust partner ecosystem to assist communities in need. Through nation level coordination channels, NGO Partners and localized non-profit organizations, he facilitates placement of capabilities and personnel into areas most heavily impacted to provide immediate response support. As part of the Amazon Disaster Relief team, he also providing ground-based intelligence to help identify and prioritize community relief needs. He is responsible for leading Disaster Response Innovation; developing rapidly deployable solutions that can augment first responders, relief organizations and mission partners with new and emerging technologies.
