Peter “Pete” Kim is a Telecommunications Specialist Supervisor for the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Agency (CISA). Mr. Kim is focused on operations, plans, policy, training, and exercises for the Emergency Support Functions #2 Communications (ESF #2) Community. In support of ESF #2, he has deployed to New Mexico, Louisiana, Florida, Puerto Rico, Guam, and the United States Virgin Islands to coordinate federal, state, and territorial emergency response and recovery actions after natural disasters. In addition, Mr. Kim supports federal operational coordination at the National Response
Coordination Center during Stafford Act activations. He is currently in the Emergency Response Operations Branch, Integrated Operations Division. Mr. Kim is a retired United States Air Force Officer. While serving in the Air Force he was on the headquarters staff for United States Forces Korea, United States Central Command, and the Pentagon. His experience spans the maintenance, logistics, plans and policy. Mr. Kim is a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy.
