Lisa Leftwich oversees ZRS’ Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) risk services. In line with Zurich’s purpose statement – Creating a Brighter Future Together – ZRS partners with customers throughout their sustainability journey to help address emerging risks, strengthen operations and build resilience.
Leveraging Zurich’s global expertise, Leftwich is responsible for the delivery of Climate Resilience, Carbon Advisory, Business Continuity, Supply Chain, Workforce Resilience, and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) solutions. Prior to this role, she served on the International Programs from Zurich (IPZ) leadership team, which serves customers with complex multinational risk programs. Leftwich also played a key role in helping the team achieve key operational targets and improve employee engagement when she served as Chief of Staff of U.S. National Accounts.
Before joining Zurich, Leftwich worked with companies in the manufacturing, start-up, consulting, and academic sectors.
External appointments
Leftwich serves on the board of Tuskegee Next, which empowers at-risk youth to become pilots. She’s also a volunteer and workshop facilitator for Purpose by Design, an enrichment program for teen girls from under-resourced communities.
Leftwich is a member of the National African American Insurance Association (NAAIA).
Educational background
Leftwich holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications from Wheaton College (Ill.).
