She is the Immediate Past Co-Chair, and currently serves as the Louisiana Chair, of the Mississippi River Cities and Towns Initiative (MRCTI)– a group of more than 80 mayors along all 10 states of the Mississippi River’s main stem – working to renew federal, state and local attention to the country’s most underutilized economic and environmental asset. She is most proud to say that she has been happily married to her husband, Ronnie, for 44 years and has three married children, Blair, Brennan, and Cambre, and grandchildren Kennedy Grace, Brennan Konrad, Noah Paul, and Stelly Bee.
