Diana Yassanye is a public health and public-private partnerships (P3) expert, co-founding Parasol Health Consulting after 27 years in grassroots, international, local, and federal public health. She spent 11 years developing and leading P3 strategy for CDC, including 7 years as CDC’s first and only P3 Lead in the Director's Office, championing ethical and transparent engagement of the private sector. She has been involved with public health readiness and response since 2005, beginning as a Cities Readiness Initiative Coordinator in Connecticut, moving to CDC as a trainer for the Strategic National Stockpile, and then holding federal response roles during H1N1, Hurricane Sandy, Zika, Ebola, Operation Allies Welcome Afghan evacuation, and COVID-19. Her last federal role was as the lead for the Federal Retail Pharmacy Program, coordinating 21 retail pharmacy organizations to provide 41,000 pharmacies with COVID-19 vaccine, reaching 90% of the population within 5 miles of their homes. Diana has an M.S. in Health Education from Columbia University Teachers College.
