Virtual Meeting with the Ad Council on

Building Vaccine Confidence in America

As COVID-19 vaccines enter review and get approved for emergency use by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, 40 percent of Americans are not yet committed to getting a COVID-19 vaccine when available, with 21 percent not intending to get vaccinated. Trust in the vaccine is particularly low in Black and Latinx communities, with only 14% of Black Americans and 34% of Latinx Americans trusting that a vaccine will be safe.

To encourage vaccination against the virus, the Ad Council, in partnership with the COVID Collaborative, has launched one of the largest public education campaigns in history. This national initiative will complement government efforts and has set an initial goal of raising $50 million from the private sector, including the philanthropic community and corporations.

Join the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation for a
virtual meeting at 1:00 p.m. ET on Thursday, December 17, to hear from Ad Council President & CEO Lisa Sherman and American Medical Association President Dr. Sue Bailey about this unprecedented communications campaign and how the business community can financially support efforts to build vaccine confidence in America.
