Thibaud's mental wellbeing philosophy is borrowed from the airlines: “You have to put the mask on yourself before helping anyone else. If you want to help others, you need to be OK first.” A Global Purchasing Director, Thibaud found himself in the middle of a mental health crisis with a relative. He needed to drop everything and be there for his family, and his manager didn’t give it a second thought. P&G's flexible working arrangements made it possible for Thibaud to be present for his family while maintaining his personal wellbeing. In Fall of 2023, our Louisiana Fabric Care plant’s Veterans (VRAN) & Native American Employee Networks (NAN) joined forces with The Vet Center to beautify the home of Mrs. Morace, a 95-year-old retired public servant and widow of a U.S. Military veteran. Ten dedicated employees pitched in, cutting grass, raking and trimming trees, as well as interior and exterior cleaning of the property. During the project, NAN Leader, Brandon, had a full circle moment, making the work that much more special. Through service and collaboration, our employees are making a difference with #ActsOfGood. When Yuvakshi graduated from college in India in 2021, she landed her “dream job” with P&G. But as a new hire in the male-dominated manufacturing environment – without the direct manufacturing experience of those she led – she struggled. With the help of supportive colleagues, a mentor and counseling, she turned her situation around and even became a trained Mental Health First Aider to help others who are struggling the way she did. She now talks openly about her vulnerabilities and shares her story to reduce the stigma around mental wellbeing. Last week, we made quite a splash at #GlobalCitizenNOW. 🌎 We are partnering with Brave Blue World Foundation on their documentary "Our Blue World – A Water Odyssey", to raise awareness about the global water crisis in a relevant and relatable way.
