Camila Tapias is a global leader at the intersection of disaster resilience, infrastructure finance, and impact investment, with deep experience structuring initiatives that align public, private, and philanthropic capital. At SPIN Global, she leads the Business & Industry Practice area and directs the Community Disaster Resilience Fund (CDRF), a pension-backed investment platform with a pipeline ranging from $100 million to $50 billion. Her work focuses on financing resilient infrastructure and climate adaptation by translating risk into investable opportunities and aligning institutional capital with government and community priorities.
Camila serves on the global board of ARISE, the United Nations’ largest private-sector network advancing disaster resilience. Previously advised the World Bank and now serves as a Trustee of The George Washington University, her two-time alma mater. Originally from Bogotá, Colombia, she was a Division I athlete at GW and a decade-long member of the Colombian Women’s National Basketball Team, bringing a disciplined, team-driven approach to complex, high-stakes environments.
