Kathryn Strickland is the Chief Network Officer at Feeding America.  Previously, she served as director of multiple nonprofits including the Community Food Bank of Central Alabama, the Food Bank of North Alabama, LIFT Housing, and the Community Mediation Center of Montana. Strickland holds an M.A. from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology and a B.A. from Davidson College. She has presented on food insecurity at national conferences and was recently published in the Journal of Hunger & Environmental Nutrition. In a previous life, she led cycling and adventure trips in Yellowstone, the Tetons, Mongolia, and Botswana. She is a big fan of veggies and views farmers as her heroes.
