Mario Jaramillo is a Creative Director, Brand Strategist, and Founder of The Robot Agency, Inc., a Houston-based multidisciplinary firm that helps organizations move from confusion to clarity. With more than 20 years of experience, Mario specializes in brand strategy, visual identity, and messaging systems that align teams, sharpen positioning, and drive measurable results.
Through The Robot Agency, he has led creative and strategic initiatives for global brands, government entities, cultural institutions, and growth-minded entrepreneurs. His work spans identity systems, marketing campaigns, public art, environmental graphics, and digital platforms, always grounded in the belief that design should do more than look good; it should guide decisions and create momentum.
Mario’s foundation in creativity began in the hip-hop community, where he founded a dance company that gained international recognition. He and his ensemble were featured on TEDxHouston (2011), highlighting the power of art to shape identity and opportunity. He has also partnered with the U.S. Department of State on cultural diplomacy initiatives, leading arts education and exchange programs around the world.
In 2016, following a cultural exchange program in Basrah, Iraq hosted by the U.S. Consulate General, the City of Houston proclaimed June 21 as Mario Jaramillo Day in recognition of his contributions to global cultural connection.
