Jonathan Falk is the Director of Disaster Operations at the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), where he leads the organization's efforts to support the residential construction industry and their communities in preparing for, responding to, and recovering from natural disasters. He brings a mission-driven approach to one of the most critical intersections in disaster recovery: rebuilding housing.
Drawing on field experience and organizational leadership, Jonathan brings practical insight into preparedness, coordination, and long-term recovery. He has spent his career at the front lines of disaster recovery, leading residential rebuilding programs directly alongside communities recovering from major disasters across the U.S. and internationally. A proud two term alumnus of the AmeriCorps program, Jonathan has carried a commitment to national service throughout every stage of his career.
Jonathan oversees the NAHB Disaster Relief Program, serving the association's federation of over 600 state and local builders' associations and its national membership of over 140,000 members in times of disaster. Under his leadership, the program supports associations and their members across the full disaster cycle, from preparedness planning and damage assessments to policy engagement, relief funding, and community rebuilding.
Jonathan is focused on closing the gap between disaster impact and housing recovery, ensuring the expertise and capacity of the home building industry is fully mobilized and coordinated to lead when communities need it most.
Jonathan holds a Master of Science from the University of South Florida and a Bachelor of Science from Florida State University.
