Bridgette Coleman serves as Sr. Manager of Talent Initiatives at San Diego Regional Economic Development Corporation (EDC), where she leads employer-driven workforce development strategies designed to expand access to diverse, qualified talent for the region’s businesses. She oversees Advancing San Diego—a collaborative initiative that aligns industry, education, and workforce partners to better prepare San Diegans for high-quality careers in priority industries.

Bridgette brings more than a decade of experience in economic and workforce development, with expertise in employer engagement, talent pipeline strategy, and industry-education partnerships. She is certified through the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s Talent Pipeline Management® program as a Talent Supply Chain Manager and leads employer collaboratives focused on addressing critical workforce challenges and building scalable solutions.

In addition to managing regional talent initiatives, Bridgette works closely with employers, education institutions, workforce organizations, and community partners to develop data-driven solutions that strengthen San Diego’s talent ecosystem. She serves on several regional education and workforce committees including ones for USD, San Diego Community College District, Grossmont College, Able-Disabled Advocacy, and the Border Region K-16 Talent Pipeline Collaborative.

Bridgette graduated from the University of Alaska Anchorage with a double major in Business Management and Marketing.
