Marty Reed is founder and CEO of RANDA Solutions, a pioneer in education technology with expertise in statewide data and workflow systems. Marty is responsible for the analysis and design of the first Teacher Student Data Link (TSDL) system which launched in 2008. Through Marty’s visionary leadership, RANDA has confronted many of the architectural challenges faced by State Education Agencies implementing solutions in 35 states and seven countries. These solutions have produced market leading systems for interoperability and portability of student and teacher data. Most recently, alongside his passionate team of expert technologists, RANDA developed a six-tier AI data analysis and alignment tool for state standards, course codes, and credentials, as well as a foundational blockchain architecture for credential publishing. Marty is a well-regarded contributor to the CASE Network, DIF Interoperability, and through the work with the North Dakota Integrated Learner Record Co-lab, building the reference implementation for the IEEE LER best practices model. In addition, Marty serves as current president of the Entrepreneur’s Organization, the third largest chapter of the 14,000-member organization in the world only behind Tokyo and Mumbai, helping to support the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the Nashville area and globally. An ardent supporter of life-long learning, Marty believes that education technology should always focus on the end result, student outcomes.
