Amy is a member (partner) on the financial services team at Moore & Van Allen PLLC where she also serves as Co-Chair of the firm’s Diversity Committee. She practices in the area of public finance and has served as Disclosure Counsel to the State of North Carolina since 2017. Throughout her career, Amy has served in various leadership roles, particularly with organizations that promote diversity, equity and inclusion. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of PFLAG Charlotte.

Amy was born and raised in Ann Arbor, MI and received her undergraduate degree in business from the University of Michigan. From there she graduated with her law degree from the University of North Carolina where she served as Editor-in-Chief of the Law Review. Before starting the practice of law, Amy clerked for a judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. She has two grown children.
