Alison Leo Rana is the executive director of the ExxonMobil Foundation. In addition to managing the Foundation’s operations, she oversees the Foundation’s major global community programs in STEM education, health, women’s economic opportunities and the environment. Over the past 23 years, Alison has held leadership roles in Public & Government Affairs supporting the corporation’s operations, communications and community engagement around the world.
Prior to joining ExxonMobil, Alison served as a U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer in Kazakhstan and worked in public health on a USAID-funded project in Kyrgyzstan. Alison has a bachelor’s degree in international relations with minors in Russian and economics from Randolph-Macon Woman’s College in Virginia and an MBA in international marketing from Thunderbird, The American Graduate School of International Management in Arizona. Originally from the Washington, D.C. area, she and her husband have lived in Houston, Texas for over 15 years and have two teenage children.
