Visana’s innovative, evidence-based care model was specifically developed to deliver patient-centric care with improved access and produce excellent outcomes at a total cost of care reduction. Visana’s care model has launched with health plans and self-funded employers, and in 2023, the company received venture backing co-led by Flare Capital and Frist Cressey Ventures.

Shelly has spent over two decades in healthcare, investing in and building companies focused on innovative care models, digital health, and women’s health. Shelly is passionate about developing companies that provide greater access to care with a care model designed to improve outcomes and reduce the total cost of care.
