Shannon Favazza is responsible for Firm Analytics, including setting the analytic strategy for Edward Jones and evolving the enterprise analytic, data science, and business intelligence capabilities. These capabilities are utilized at all levels of the firm to shape strategy, create personalized experiences for clients and branch teams, create efficiencies through optimization and measure business impact.
Shannon joined Edward Jones in 2006 as a member of Financial Reporting. She has since held several roles in Finance and Analytics, including supporting many of the firm’s areas, including Human Resources, Trust and Banking, and Branch Development. Shannon helped pioneer Edward Jones’ Firm Analytics area and held various leadership roles in which she led teams that provided insights supporting the firm’s financial advisor growth strategy before assuming her current responsibilities in 2018. She was named an Edward Jones principal in 2020.
A native to St. Louis, Shannon is active in the St. Louis community. She is a cabinet member of the Women's Leadership Society for the United Way Greater St. Louis and served on the board of Almost Home. She is an ally for the Edward Jones Black/ African American business resource group. She and her husband, Mike, have three children: Jack, Ben and Lucy. Shannon enjoys running, reading and horseback riding. She earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Truman State University in Kirksville, Mo., and an MBA from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
