Ojala Naeem is a civic leader, innovator, and advocate for inclusive community growth. She currently serves on the Windsor Town Council, where she focuses on making Windsor more affordable for all residents, fostering economic development, and expanding senior and workforce housing.

Professionally, Ojala is the Senior Director of Design Operations for Enterprise Customer Experience at Travelers Insurance, where she leads large-scale initiatives to strengthen design strategy, collaboration, and impact across the organization. With a career that bridges public service, corporate leadership, and community development, she brings a unique perspective on how design thinking and civic engagement can drive meaningful change.

Ojala also chairs the Board of Directors at Forge City Works, a Hartford-based social enterprise that provides culinary job training and strengthens local food systems. Her leadership has consistently focused on creating opportunities that build equity, innovation, and community connection.

Ojala earned her undergraduate degree from Fordham University and an MBA from Quinnipiac University. She is passionate about empowering others to lead with purpose and believes deeply in the power of local action to create lasting impact.
