Jennifer serves as Vice President of Public Affairs for Novo Nordisk Inc. In this capacity she leads the federal government affairs, state government affairs, policy, Alliance Development and Corporate Sustainability and Social Impact teams. Prior to joining NNI, Jennifer served as Staff Director and Chief of Staff for the United States Senate Judiciary Committee in Washington. During her time in United States Senate she held several positions including, Chief of Staff for Senator Dianne Feinstein of California, Staff Director and Chief Counsel for the Subcommittee on Terrorism, Technology, and Homeland Security; Counsel for Majority Leader Tom Daschle of South Dakota, and counsel for the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee.
Jennifer has also held the position of Vice President, Policy, External Affairs and Communications for Pfizer, Inc. During that time, she led three distinct teams focused on Global Consumer Health Public Affairs, US Legislative and US Executive Branch/Regulatory. Prior to her work in Washington, DC, Jennifer worked in state government for Minnesota State Senator Bill Luther and held positions with a number of non-profit organizations.
Jenifer is originally from Alabama and has lived in Asia and Brazil. Through these experiences Jennifer grew a love for travel and has had the opportunity to explore extensively through Europe, South America, and Africa. Jennifer loves to hike and spend time outside. Jennifer has her Juris Doctorate degree from Emory University School of Law and her undergraduate degree from St. Olaf College.
Although Jennifer is originally from Alabama, she spent her teenage and college years in Minnesota. She is a huge Minnesota hockey fan and enjoys Alabama football.
