Diversity, equity, & inclusion (DEI) champion, ESG integrator, communications and marketing expert, brand strategist and community engagement professional are just a few words used to describe Keisha Dabrowski.
Throughout her nearly 20-year career, she has leveraged communication and her commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion to help organizations, leaders, and individuals bridge understanding, inspire trust and build loyalty. As a visionary, data-driven and creative leader, she has executed highly integrated and complex communications strategies and marketing campaigns within multi-faceted, fast-paced, and diverse organizations.
In her role as Johnson & Johnson’s first Global Leader of Health Equity Communications, she is responsible for creating engaging experiences and driving health equity communications with key stakeholders around the world. She spearheads communications strategies for Our Race to Health Equity (ORTHE), an enterprise-wide initiative at Johnson & Johnson with a bold ambition of rebuilding healthcare from a diverse perspective so the color of a person’s skin is not a determinant of their access to care, quality of care or health outcomes.
Prior to joining Johnson & Johnson, she served as Associate Vice Chancellor Administration and Engagement for Rutgers University providing university-wide leadership of culture change management and strategic communications. She also served as an Assistant Vice Chancellor for Diversity Strategy, Communications, and Community engagement, and held other roles leading strategic communications and community engagement portfolios.
She co-authored chapters on visionary and inclusive leadership in “LeaderocityTM: Leading at the Speed of Now,” published by Business Expert Press. She has served as Vice President Diversity, Equity and Inclusion for American Marketing Association, New Jersey Chapter; a Diversity and Inclusion Committee Member, Public Relations Society of America, NJ Chapter; a former Board Member of International Girls Academy, and as a DEI Curriculum Advisor to New Jersey Amistad Commission and Middlesex County Public Schools.
Keisha holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT), and a Master of Communication and Media from Rutgers University with a specialization in Strategic Organizational Communications and Corporate Purpose & Social Impact (CSR).
