Janet Ma is the Senior Hiring and Training Leader at Best Buy. She has 20+ years in retail leadership, development, and operations. Within Best Buy, she supports the Social Impact team in their partnership with the Teen Tech Center, female leadership development, and hiring in the field. She has pioneered and foster a relationship with the DC Teen Tech Center to inspire weekly tech trainings for the youth presented by subject mater experts from the store. The relationship has grown to job opportunities for the teens. Her passion for helping others extends beyond the workplace as she is former board member the Penn State Alumni Association – Annapolis Chapter.

Janet is originally from Hong Kong. She lived primarily in Texas and currently resides in Maryland. She spends her free time cooking, going to outdoor festivals, and spending time with the family.
