Anne Bechdolt serves as Staff Director of Regulatory Affairs for FedEx Corporation in Washington, D.C. Ms. Bechdolt leads FedEx’s compliance and advocacy efforts on international and domestic aviation economic, safety, innovation, environmental, and security regulatory matters. Prior to joining FedEx, Ms. Bechdolt served as an attorney advisor in Regulations in the Office of the General Counsel of the U.S. Department of Transportation, managing the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration's rulemaking and guidance portfolio for the Department and interagency engagement on a variety of novel policy matters. Ms. Bechdolt was also responsible for advising on matters related to international regulatory harmonization, drug and alcohol testing matters, Privacy Act, and Paperwork Reduction Act issues. Prior to joining the General Counsel's office, she practiced for five years in the Regulations division of the FAA Chief Counsel's office, primarily focused on commercial aviation regulatory matters. Ms. Bechdolt received her Juris Doctorate from American University Washington College of Law after completing undergraduate studies at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis.
