As Director, ESG & Social Impact, Jeff leads Coupa's Social Impact team, spanning employee volunteering and giving, corporate grantmaking, strategic pro bono service, and partnership development. Prior to Coupa, Jeff was at the IBM Corporation, where he served as the global lead for Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategy. At IBM, Jeff worked across the enterprise to strengthen the company's integrated global sustainability performance with a focus on technology as a force for good. His portfolio included framing disclosures, navigating global policy issues across social responsibility, and supporting clients in maximizing their CSR impact. Jeff also served as Director of Corporate Philanthropy at the Council on Foundations where he led the organization's corporate philanthropy portfolio. At the Council, Jeff partnered with 100+ companies throughout the U.S. to expand, enhance and sustain their CSR programs. Jeff is an expert in developing public private partnerships and spent eight years at the Peace Corps, the last five as the agency’s lead on collaboration with the private sector. During his tenure, Jeff designed and implemented the Peace Corps' first-ever strategic partnerships with global corporations including Coca-Cola, Kraft Foods, and IBM with programs spanning multiple countries in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. Jeff also served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Ukraine.
