Anita is the President & Chair of the KPMG Foundation, where she is responsible for the strategy of KPMG’s philanthropic investments. The KPMG’s Foundation vision is to create a world with equity and access to opportunity. KPMG and the KPMG U.S. Foundation recently made a commitment to invest $125 million over the next five years in programs helping underrepresented groups confront systemic barriers to opportunities in education, health care and economic opportunity, while working together with these groups to help create stronger, more resilient communities.

Anita also leads KPMG’s Social Impact practice, bringing over 20 years of experience in philanthropy, international giving, and corporate responsibility strategy. She serves as Chair of Global Impact, which has inspired greater giving for more than 60 years. Anita is also a board member of the Center for Disaster Philanthropy, which strengthens disaster-affected communities and addresses the inequities that exacerbate vulnerabilities.

She has earned a Corporate Responsibility Education Certificate from the University of Notre Dame, a Masters in Health Administration from Indiana University, and a Bachelors in Psychology from Virginia Tech. She lives in the Northern Virginia area with her husband and teen daughter.
