Mike Thomas leverages his extensive experience in insurance and disaster response to spearhead GAF's Storm Restoration training program as an External Learning and Development Lead. This comprehensive initiative equips contractors with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in restoration efforts after severe weather strikes. Mike's passion for resilience extends beyond training, as he also leads GAF's partnerships with organizations that promote the adoption of resilient building practices. Before joining GAF, Mike developed his expertise on the Catastrophe Response Team at Farmers Insurance. There, he played a key role at all levels, supporting and leading various aspects of the critical response to natural disasters and the subsequent claims process.
