The Community Disaster Resilience Zones (CDRZ) Act amended the Stafford Act in 2022 to strengthen communities most at risk for natural hazards and climate change FEMA announced the first 483 CDRZ designations. The most vulnerable populations and communities can leverage this investment to mitigate community disaster risk.
