Patrick McCrummen is Global Leader of Community Impact at DuPont. He currently serves as vice chair of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Corporate Citizenship Center advisory board.

Previously, McCrummen led the development of a comprehensive citizenship and sustainability platform as Senior Director of Corporate Citizenship at Johnson & Johnson, the world’s largest healthcare company.

For more than 25 years, McCrummen’s career has been at the nexus of corporate communications, philanthropy and social impact across the corporate, non-profit and government sectors.

As a passionate advocate for the advancement and equity of women and girls, McCrummen was recruited to lead the partner engagement and advocacy strategy on behalf of Johnson & Johnson’s global philanthropy group. During his tenure, he served as a private sector advisor to the United Nations’ Every Woman, Every Child initiative and the World Health Organization’s Partnership for Maternal, Newborn and Child Health’s advocacy board.

Before joining Johnson & Johnson, McCrummen was vice president of communication and marketing for the American Red Cross in Washington, DC, and its $3.5 billion portfolio of humanitarian work. In this role, he was a key member of the executive team through some of the most transformational years in the organization’s history. He drove groundbreaking media relations and public information strategies and led communications partnerships with the US Department of Homeland Security and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

As a native of North Dakota, Patrick holds a bachelor’s degree in communication with an emphasis in organizational psychology from the University of North Dakota. He is a fellow of the International Radio and Television Society and served as a senior fellow of the Homeland Security Policy Institute at The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. He is a speaker and guest lecturer at major universities, associations and government entities.
