Apurva Patel is the U.S. Corporate Sustainability and Social Impact Director at Novo Nordisk. He is responsible for the company’s philanthropic partnerships and investments throughout the U.S. Prior to joining Novo Nordisk, he spent more than 25 years with non-governmental organizations designing, implementing, and evaluating community development projects around the world. He has worked in Latin America, Africa, Asia and U.S. on infectious disease control, chronic disease prevention and management, community resilience, disaster response and climate change adaptation. He has expertise in community development, strategy design and execution, relationship development, and impact assessment.
